ROOTGUARD is the key to Geoflow's
success with subsurface
drip irrigation.
ROOTGUARD technology combines Treflan®
with the drip emitter
to inhibit root growth. The herbicide is released at a
uniform rate,
maintaining sufficient concentration in the soil
immediately surrounding
the drip emitter to prevent longitudinal root growth into
the emitter.
Built-in ROOTGUARD protection is
guaranteed by Geoflow to
prevent roots from growing into subsurface drip emitters. |

Subsurface drip systems use the same
basic components
as surface drip systems, including water filtration and
treatment, fertilizer and chemical injection, air vents,
flush
valves and manual or automatic control. Geoflow
specializes in manufacturing trouble-free subsurface drip
irrigation, in both pressure compensating and turbulent
flow models,
with ROOTGUARD protection.
Dripline - The dripline products are
available with either pressure
compensating or turbulent flow emitters pre-inserted at
regular spacings along the line. The emitters are
available
in either 1/2 gph or 1 gph (2 lph or 4 lph) and are
pre-spaced
at regular intervals inside the polyethylene hose. The
dripline can be ordered in 16mm (0,630"OD), 18mm
(0.710"OD) or 20mm (0.0805"OD) diameters. |
